BOOKINGS:
A deposit of 10% of the full fare will secure your booking. Phone
enquiries and tentative bookings without a deposit can only be held
for 7 days. The balance of the fare is due no later than 30 days before
departure. Wait list passengers accepted 21 days before departure.
CANCELLATIONS:
A deposit of $100 is required for a booking and is not refundable
unless your ticket is resold.
INSURANCE:
This is available through Swan Hill Coaches & Travel.
It is highly recommended that all passengers take out travel insurance,
that shall protect you against your need to cancel.
ITINERARY:
Admission charges as per itinerary are fully covered in your fare
unless otherwise stated, but no refunds will be available if you
fail to avail yourself for such visits. The itinerary is only a
guide for some of the things we do and places we visit, attractions
may vary at each stop depending on seasonal activities and weather
conditions in that particular area.
COACH CAPTAIN or "Boss Man" is your
tour leader. Changes to the itinerary due to road and weather conditions,
strikes, non-performance by a supplier etc., are at his discretion.
SINGLE PASSENGERS:
Passengers travelling by themselves and do not want to pay the
extra charge for single accommodation, we will find someone for
you to share with.
LUGGAGE LIMIT:
Baggage limits applicable to most airlines apply, however are not
strictly enforced by Swan Hill Bus Lines.
SEAT ROTATION:
Whilst on tour specific seat numbers are not allocated, as a seat
rotation system ensures that all passengers enjoy forward and window
seating.
CLOTHING:
We recommend casual clothing and footwear as the most comfortable
and relaxing when touring. It is advisable to pack both summer
and winter clothing as our tours take in the extreme of temperature
and suitable attire for dinner and evening outings.
SMOKING is prohibited under Government regulations.
Passengers are requested to restrict their smoking to the stops
en-route in the interests of other passengers.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Swan Hill Bus Lines cannot be held liable for any alterations which
may occur in timetables or for additional expenses because of alterations,
the extra cost will be payable by passengers individually. The right
is reserved to amend or cancel any itinerary or programme if it
should become necessary, the transportation companies or firms shall
be exempt from all liability in respect of detention, delay, loss,
damage, sickness or injury, however and by whosoever caused and
of whatever kind occurring of or to the passenger at any time then
the passenger is not on board a carrier or conveyane used or operated
by the transportation companies or firms. The passenger contract
in use by the transport companies or firms shall constitute the
sole contract between transport companies or firms, and the purchaser
of these tours and/or passengers . All tickets, deposit tickets,
coupons and orders are furnished under the issued subject in all
respects to those terms and conditions under which the means of
transportation of their services provided thereby are offered or
supplied owners, operators, public carriers, managing agents or
agent. Alteration to itineraries may be made where necessary without
notice, however, any change will be made to the best advantage of
passengers.
MOTEL TOURS
ACCOMMODATION used on our tours is of high standard,
all rooms featuring air-conditioning, colour TV, shower and toilet
(though this standard is sometimes hard to acquire when travelling
in outback Australia). Accommodation is based on two persons to
a room. Three to a room or family units are usually available upon
request. Single accommodation is normally available at extra charge,
it will be requested but cannot be guaranteed.
MEALS supplied by Swan Hill Bus Lines as specified
in each itinerary.
B - Breakfast L - Lunch D - Dinner.
RAIL OR AIR STRIKES:
Swan Hill Bus Lines will make every endeavour to contact clients
to advise alternative arrangements. However, if contact is not made
then passengers should phone our office.
AIRLINE INDEMNITY:
Qantas involvement in the tour is as carrier only and that Qantas
shall carry no responsibility for statements in the literature relating
to the tour or any of its features and the agent shall indemnify
Qantas against any claim action, loss or damage which may be made
against Qantas or which Qantas may incur, as a result of any mis-description
or misleading information, contained in out tour literature.
NOTE:
Passengers may have the option to fly in or out of tours at a destination
of their choice. See your travel agent for details.

PICK UP TIMES:
Times are subject to change and will need to ne confirmed one week
prior to departure as will times for towns not listed.
Every endeavour will be made to pick up door to door. Time restrictions
and the size of vehicle coming through could prevent door to door
pick up.
